U.S. immigration officials said they are deporting a California prostitute to Canada after she completed a jail sentence for involuntary manslaughter for giving a fatal heroin shot to a Google executive she had been entertaining aboard his yacht. A judge ordered Alix Tichelman, 29, deported to Canada because of her felony convictions connected to the overdose death of Forrest Hayes in November 2013. She also pleaded guilty to a felony charge of administering drugs.
On November 23, 2013, Tichelman was aboard Hayes’ 46-foot yacht, “Escape” in the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor.
She injected herself with heroin, prepared another needle and injected Hayes’ arm. Hayes, a father of five, was found dead after the visit by the then 27-year-old prostitute.
Police said a surveillance video at the harbor showed Tichelman at first panicking and trying to revive Hayes. Then it showed her casually step over Hayes' body, finish a glass of wine and lower a blind before leaving the yacht. His body was discovered the next day and she was arrested eight months later.
Police said Hayes hired Tichelman several times for drug-fueled sex after they met on the website Seeking Arrangement, which pairs 'sugar babies' with rich older men or women.
